Urban Challenge Fund Projects के तहत Jammu and Kashmir में ₹1,990 करोड़ के चार बड़े urban development projects को shortlist किया गया है। Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo ने Housing & Urban Development Department (H&UDD) की meeting में इन projects की progress और planning की समीक्षा की।

बैठक में Government of India के Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) के तहत शुरू किए जाने वाले urban infrastructure projects की progress और planning पर चर्चा की गई।

इस दौरान Commissioner Secretary, H&UDD, Municipal Commissioners और अन्य senior officers मौजूद रहे। Meeting में J&K को sustainable urban growth और economic development के लिए तैयार करने की strategy पर विचार किया गया।

₹1,990 करोड़ के चार बड़े Urban Projects Shortlist

Meeting में बताया गया कि Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) के साथ पहले दौर की discussions के बाद Jammu and Kashmir में चार major urban development projects को shortlist किया गया है।

इन projects की estimated cost करीब ₹1,990.37 crore है।

इसके लिए:

• Central Assistance: ₹495.86 crore
• UT Share: ₹486.12 crore
• Market-based Financing: ₹1,008.38 crore

राशि जुटाने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया है।

Atal Dulloo ने दिए Quality Projects तैयार करने के निर्देश

Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि सभी shortlisted projects Urban Challenge Fund की guidelines के अनुसार तैयार किए जाएं।

उन्होंने कहा कि projects के लिए:

• Detailed feasibility studies तैयार हों
• Financial planning मजबूत हो
• Clear implementation strategy बनाई जाए

ताकि इनका फायदा लंबे समय तक urban areas और लोगों को मिल सके।

उन्होंने कहा कि ये projects सिर्फ infrastructure development तक सीमित नहीं होने चाहिए, बल्कि employment opportunities, tourism growth और बेहतर public services को भी बढ़ावा देना चाहिए।

J&K के चार प्रमुख Urban Projects

1. Walled City और Nigeen Lakefront Revitalization

पहले project में Walled City और Nigeen Lakefront Revitalization शामिल है।

इसका उद्देश्य heritage areas को conserve करना, tourism infrastructure को improve करना और urban environment को बेहतर बनाना है।

2. TARANG – Tawi Area Regeneration and Green Growth Project

दूसरा project TARANG (Tawi Area Regeneration and Green Growth Project) है।

इसके तहत Tawi riverfront और आसपास के urban areas का regeneration किया जाएगा।

Project में:

• Green development
• Environment-friendly infrastructure
• Better public spaces

पर focus रहेगा।

3. Lidder Riverfront Development Project

तीसरा project Lidder Riverfront Development है, जिसका उद्देश्य Anantnag में planned urban growth को बढ़ावा देना है।

इस project के जरिए riverfront को develop किया जाएगा और public infrastructure तथा urban facilities को improve किया जाएगा।

4. KRIPA – Katra Revitalisation Project

चौथा project KRIPA (Katra Revitalisation through Integrated Pilgrimage Amenities) है।

इसका लक्ष्य Katra में pilgrimage facilities को modern बनाना है।

Project के तहत:

• Better civic infrastructure
• Improved mobility
• Pilgrim-friendly facilities

develop की जाएंगी, जिससे आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को बेहतर experience मिल सके।

Urban Growth और Investment को मिलेगा Boost

Chief Secretary ने कहा कि इन projects के सफल implementation से Jammu and Kashmir में urban infrastructure मजबूत होगा।

उन्होंने सभी departments को Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs के साथ coordination बढ़ाने और project reports को जल्द पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि Urban Challenge Fund के माध्यम से J&K में tourism, private investment और economic growth को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और cities को future-ready बनाया जा सकेगा।
