Katra Swachhata Campaign: Student की पहल से Ward 9 बनेगा Model
Katra में cleanliness को लेकर नई पहल, Ward 9 को Model Swachhata Ward बनाने की तैयारी
Katra Swachhata Campaign को लेकर Katra में अब एक नई पहल शुरू की गई है। एक Class IV student की sanitation से जुड़ी चिंता के बाद Commissioner Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur ने Katra Municipal Committee के Ward number 9 और 10 का दौरा कर cleanliness और waste management arrangements का जायजा लिया।
Student से लेकर Residents तक हुई बातचीत
दौरे के दौरान Mandeep Kaur ने Aarvi Mandla, local residents, community representatives और Municipal Committee के officials से बातचीत की। बैठक में solid waste management, drainage, door-to-door waste collection, home composting, user charges और cleanliness बनाए रखने में community participation जैसे मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई।
Commissioner Secretary ने Aarvi के civic sense की सराहना करते हुए उसकी constructive पहल की प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने कहा कि कम उम्र में अपने neighbourhood की समस्याओं को लेकर awareness दिखाना सराहनीय है।
Aarvi बनी “Swachhata Ambassador”
Aarvi Mandla की पहल को सम्मान देते हुए उसे area की “Swachhata Ambassador” नियुक्त किया गया। इस जिम्मेदारी से उत्साहित Aarvi ने Commissioner Secretary, officers और community members का धन्यवाद किया।
अब Aarvi की मदद से students, families, shopkeepers और अन्य stakeholders को cleanliness activities में actively participate करने के लिए motivate किया जाएगा।
Katra Swachhata Campaign के तहत Ward 9 बनेगा Model Ward
Katra Swachhata Campaign के तहत Ward number 9 को “Model Swachhata Ward” के रूप में develop किया जाएगा। इसके लिए waste segregation, home composting, door-to-door waste collection और regular drainage cleaning पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
उन्होंने composting bins के distribution, source पर waste segregation और home composting को बढ़ावा देने पर जोर दिया।
Residents को cleanliness initiatives के बारे में जागरूक करने के लिए intensive IEC campaign शुरू करने के निर्देश भी दिए गए, ताकि sanitation efforts का long-term और sustainable impact सुनिश्चित हो सके।
हर घर और दुकान तक Waste Collection के निर्देश
Municipal Committee को हर household और commercial establishment तक last-mile door-to-door waste collection सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया है।
इसके साथ ही user charges की regular collection पर भी ध्यान देने के निर्देश दिए गए। अधिकारियों को drains की नियमित cleaning और desilting, waste को समय पर उठाने और vulnerable garbage points को खत्म करने के लिए भी कहा गया।
Field level पर close supervision रखने के निर्देश देते हुए sanitation arrangements की नियमित monitoring पर जोर दिया गया।
Aarvi के साथ चलेगा Public Awareness Campaign
Aarvi को Swachhata Ambassador बनाकर एक sustained public-awareness campaign चलाया जाएगा। इसका उद्देश्य students, families, shopkeepers और अन्य community members को अपने आसपास cleanliness बनाए रखने के लिए actively जोड़ना है।
इसके साथ Solid Waste Management और Swachh Bharat Mission guidelines का पालन भी सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा। खुले में कचरा फेंकने और waste के improper disposal पर appropriate action लेने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
दौरे के दौरान Director, Urban Local Bodies Jammu और Municipal Committee के अन्य officials भी मौजूद रहे।
