जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार ने Santosh Trophy 2025 के लिए J&K Football Team Selection Process में सामने आए मुद्दों की जांच के लिए एक high-level enquiry committee का गठन किया है। यह कमेटी 79वें National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy में भागीदारी हेतु हुई चयन प्रक्रिया की पूरी तरह से पड़ताल करेगी।
Government Order No. 50-JK(YSS) of 2025, दिनांक 17 December 2025, के अनुसार यह enquiry time-bound manner में की जाएगी, ताकि factual position स्पष्ट हो सके। इस समिति की अध्यक्षता Director General, Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Ms. Anuradha Gupta, JKAS करेंगी। कमेटी में विभिन्न विभागों के senior officers के साथ-साथ experienced sports professionals भी शामिल हैं।
आदेश के तहत DG Youth Services & Sports को यह अधिकार दिया गया है कि वे दो former National-level footballers को co-opt कर सकती हैं—एक Kashmir region से और एक Jammu region से। यह कदम selection process में fairness, transparency और credibility सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से उठाया गया है।
कमेटी को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वह चयन प्रक्रिया की in-depth enquiry करे और अपनी findings के आधार पर recommendations प्रस्तुत करे। पैनल को seven days के भीतर अपनी report submit करनी होगी।
सरकार ने enquiry process में public participation को भी महत्व दिया है। आम जनता को अपने सुझाव और comments रखने का अवसर मिलेगा। इसके लिए समिति Jammu और Srinagar में तीन-तीन notified days पर लोगों से मुलाकात करेगी। इससे players, coaches और stakeholders को अपनी बात रखने का मंच मिलेगा और पूरी प्रक्रिया अधिक inclusive बनेगी।
