Rural Healthcare Khag पर बड़ा Focus, Health Services मजबूत
Khag में Rural Healthcare और Health Research को मजबूत करने के लिए ICMR-SHINE Programme आयोजित किया गया।
Budgam: Rural Healthcare को मजबूत करने और लोगों में health awareness बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से ICMR-SHINE Programme का आयोजन Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU), Khag में किया गया। Programme में health officials, researchers, doctors, academicians और community members ने हिस्सा लिया।
दो दिवसीय programme का आयोजन ICMR-NICHR, New Delhi, Department of Health Research और Ministry of Health and Family Welfare के सहयोग से किया गया। इसमें health awareness, community engagement, evidence-based practices और rural healthcare को बेहतर बनाने पर चर्चा हुई।
Athar Aamir Khan ने Research और Healthcare के बीच Coordination पर दिया जोर
Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan ने programme की अध्यक्षता करते हुए MRHRU Khag और partner institutions के efforts की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि health research को ground-level implementation से जोड़ना जरूरी है, ताकि research के results का सीधा फायदा लोगों को मिल सके।
उन्होंने खासतौर पर rural और underserved areas में healthcare delivery और health outcomes को बेहतर बनाने के लिए evidence-based research पर जोर दिया।
Community Participation को बताया जरूरी
Deputy Commissioner ने कहा कि public health initiatives को सफल बनाने में community participation की अहम भूमिका है। उन्होंने health institutions, researchers, frontline workers, district administration और local community के बीच बेहतर teamwork की जरूरत बताई।
उनके अनुसार, healthcare में long-term improvement तभी संभव है जब research और administration के साथ community भी सक्रिय रूप से जुड़ी हो।
ICMR-SHINE Programme के Objectives पर जानकारी
Programme के दौरान Dr. Mohd Caser, Scientist-C (Medical) और In-charge, MRHRU Khag, ICMR-NICHR, New Delhi ने informative session लिया। उन्होंने ICMR-SHINE Programme के objectives और local health challenges को समझने तथा उनके समाधान में research institutions की भूमिका पर जानकारी दी।
Programme में CMO Budgam Dr. Gulzar Ahmad, HOD SPM, GMC Srinagar Dr. Mohd Iqbal Pandith, Tehsildar Khag, BMO Khag समेत कई senior officers और healthcare professionals मौजूद रहे।
इसके अलावा Dr. Mariya Amin, Assistant Professor, GMC Srinagar; Dr. Inaamul Haq, Associate Professor, GMC Srinagar; Dr. Mohd Naser, State Coordinator, State Tobacco Cell Kashmir (DHSK); और Dr. Mohd Iqbal Khan, Assistant Professor, IUST Awantipora सहित doctors, academicians और healthcare workers ने भी programme में भाग लिया।
PHC Khag में Healthcare Facilities की Review
Programme के बाद Athar Aamir Khan ने PHC Khag का भी दौरा किया और local population के लिए उपलब्ध healthcare facilities की समीक्षा की।
उन्होंने hospital के अलग-अलग wards और sections का inspection किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने patients और medical तथा paramedical staff से बातचीत कर patient care और उपलब्ध services की जानकारी ली।
Patient-Friendly Services पर जोर
Deputy Commissioner ने hospital administration और staff को smooth, accessible और patient-friendly services सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने timely care देने और उपलब्ध healthcare facilities का proper utilisation करने पर विशेष ध्यान देने को कहा।
उन्होंने कहा कि rural areas में healthcare services को बेहतर बनाना district administration की priority है और इसके लिए सभी concerned departments को मिलकर काम करना होगा।
