J&K Tourist Security को मिलेगा बड़ा Boost
J&K में tourist destinations की security मजबूत करने की सिफारिश, CCTV, surveillance और emergency response system पर focus।
J&K Tourist Security को मजबूत करने के लिए Parliamentary panel ने Jammu and Kashmir के major tourist destinations पर एक integrated security और surveillance framework बनाने की सिफारिश की है। Panel ने CCTV coverage, centralised monitoring facilities और emergency response system को मजबूत करने पर जोर दिया है।
यह recommendation Pahalgam के Baisaran Valley में 22 April 2025 को हुए terror attack के बाद tourist destinations की security को लेकर सामने आई है। इस हमले में 26 लोगों की मौत हुई थी, जिनमें ज्यादातर tourists थे।
J&K Tourist Security के लिए CCTV और Surveillance
Panel ने major tourist destinations पर comprehensive CCTV coverage और centralised monitoring facilities स्थापित करने की recommendation की है। इसके साथ regular vulnerability assessments और periodic security audits भी किए जाने की बात कही गई है।
Tourist season शुरू होने से पहले अलग-अलग security agencies के बीच Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) को review करने की recommendation भी की गई है, ताकि किसी security incident की स्थिति में response तेज और coordinated हो।
Tourist Safety पर Emergency System मजबूत करने की सिफारिश
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs ने कहा कि tourist destinations पर dedicated emergency response units, equipped ambulances और trauma-care facilities उपलब्ध होनी चाहिए। High-footfall areas में clearly identified evacuation routes भी तैयार किए जाने चाहिए।
Hotels, transport points और tourist facilities पर emergency contact numbers और safety instructions को multiple languages में prominently display करने की भी recommendation की गई है।
Tourist Season और Amarnath Yatra से पहले Security Audit
Panel ने tourist season और Amarnath Yatra से पहले joint security audits और vulnerability assessments कराने की बात कही है। इससे emerging security concerns की पहचान कर समय रहते action लिया जा सकेगा।
Gulmarg, Sonamarg और Kargil का Assessment
Parliamentary panel ने 11 से 15 May 2026 के बीच Jammu, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg और Kargil का दौरा किया। इस दौरान विभिन्न locations पर security arrangements और operational preparedness का on-the-spot assessment किया गया।
Gulmarg में security arrangements की समीक्षा की गई, जबकि Sonamarg में Jammu and Kashmir Police representatives के साथ law and order situation पर चर्चा हुई। Kargil में Indian Army representatives से border security और operational preparedness की जानकारी ली गई।
Ladakh में Modern Surveillance पर Focus
Ladakh में panel ने advanced weapon systems, unmanned aerial systems, counter-UAS technologies और modern surveillance equipment की उपलब्धता पर संतोष जताया।
Committee ने strategically important areas में counter-drone systems, secure communication networks और Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities को लगातार upgrade करने की recommendation की है।
Tourism Growth के साथ Safety भी जरूरी
बढ़ते tourist footfall के बीच J&K Tourist Security को मजबूत करना tourism sector के लिए अहम माना जा रहा है। बेहतर surveillance, regular security reviews और faster emergency response से tourist destinations में safety व्यवस्था को मजबूत किया जा सकता है।
