GST Compliance: J&K में tax evasion पर सख्ती, STD की बड़ी बैठक

Jammu & Kashmir में नए financial year की शुरुआत के साथ State Taxes Department (STD) ने अपनी तैयारी तेज कर दी है। Commissioner P.K. Bhat ने आज एक review meeting की अध्यक्षता की, जिसमें department की strategy पर चर्चा हुई।

इस meeting में Additional Commissioner Namrita Dogra और सभी tax officers मौजूद रहे। चर्चा का focus tax compliance मजबूत करने और tax evasion रोकने पर रहा।

Commissioner ने कहा कि financial year के पहले महीने से ही strict action लेना जरूरी है, खासकर fake Input Tax Credit (ITC) के मामलों को रोकने के लिए। उन्होंने officers को proactive monitoring और early detection पर ध्यान देने को कहा।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अगर सही तरीके से काम किया जाए तो यह साल J&K के लिए ज्यादा productive साबित हो सकता है।

Technology की role पर जोर देते हुए Commissioner ने officers को digital tools और data analytics इस्तेमाल करने की सलाह दी। इससे cases की tracking, timely action और enforcement बेहतर होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि technology-driven governance से transparency और accountability बढ़ेगी।

Additional Commissioner Namrita Dogra ने सभी officers से teamwork और coordination के साथ काम करने को कहा। उन्होंने कहा कि discipline और collective effort से ही revenue targets achieve किए जा सकते हैं।

Department ने taxpayers से भी appeal की कि वे GST rules का पालन करें, समय पर returns file करें और अपने transactions में transparency बनाए रखें। उन्होंने कहा कि voluntary compliance से एक strong और fair tax system बनता है।
