GMC Udhampur CT Scan: मरीजों को मिली बड़ी सुविधा
GMC Udhampur CT Scan facility से emergency, cardiac और neurological patients को तेज और बेहतर diagnosis की सुविधा मिलेगी।
Health & Medical Education, Education and Social Welfare Minister Sakeena Itoo ने Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur और Associated Hospital का extensive visit किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने अस्पताल में 128-Slice CT Scan machine का inauguration किया।
करीब ₹8.30 crore की लागत से installed यह advanced machine मरीजों को बेहतर और तेज diagnostic services उपलब्ध कराने में मदद करेगी। खासतौर पर emergency, trauma, neurological, cardiac और अन्य specialized investigations की जरूरत वाले patients को इसका सीधा लाभ मिलेगा।
CT Scan से Diagnosis होगा और तेज
Sakeena Itoo ने कहा कि नई CT Scan facility से hospital की diagnostic capacity मजबूत होगी। मशीन की मदद से CT Angiography, Cardiac CT और Triple-Phase Imaging जैसी advanced diagnostic procedures भी किए जा सकेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि Government का focus लोगों को accessible, affordable और quality healthcare उपलब्ध कराने पर है। इसके लिए Government Medical Colleges और उनके Associated Hospitals में modern facilities को लगातार मजबूत किया जा रहा है।
GMC Udhampur में घटेंगी Referrals
Minister ने कहा कि GMC Udhampur Udhampur और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के लोगों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण healthcare और academic institution बन चुका है। आधुनिक diagnostic equipment की उपलब्धता से बढ़ती healthcare needs को पूरा करने में मदद मिलेगी और मरीजों को दूसरे hospitals में referral कराने की जरूरत कम हो सकती है।
Hospital की Overall व्यवस्था की Review
Inauguration के बाद Sakeena Itoo ने GMC administration के साथ detailed review meeting की। उन्होंने staff strength, OPD services, infrastructure, medicines और diagnostic facilities की स्थिति की जानकारी ली।
इसके अलावा hospital में चल रहे ongoing works की progress भी review की गई।
Hygiene और Patient Services पर जोर
Minister ने hospital administration को healthcare services समय पर उपलब्ध कराने और hospital premises में proper hygiene और sanitation बनाए रखने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने patient-friendly services पर भी विशेष जोर दिया।
उन्होंने executing agencies को ongoing projects में तेजी लाने के लिए additional manpower लगाने और construction sites पर working shifts बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए।
Special Initiatives के तहत भी मदद
Visit के दौरान Sakeena Itoo ने J&K Rehabilitation Council initiative के तहत एक specially abled person को motorized tricycle भी प्रदान किया।
इसके अलावा Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative के तहत newborn baby girl की mother को भी felicitate किया गया।

इस मौके पर Pawan Kumar Gupta, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Minga Sherpa, Ranjeet Singh, Poonam Sethi, Subash Dogra, Dr. Pramod Kalsotra और Dr. Sanjeev Gupta सहित कई senior officers मौजूद रहे।
