Anantnag Processing Centre: किसानों के लिए नई उम्मीद की शुरुआत

अनंतनाग के जाबलीपोरा स्थित International Fruit Market में आज Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ने एक modern Fruit and Vegetable Processing Centre का inauguration किया। यह centre क्षेत्र में horticulture infrastructure को मजबूत करने और किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से स्थापित किया गया है।

इस मौके पर कई वरिष्ठ मंत्री और अधिकारी मौजूद रहे, जिनमें Health & Medical Education मंत्री Sakeena Masood Itoo, Agriculture Production मंत्री Javid Ahmad Dar, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani और अन्य जनप्रतिनिधि शामिल थे।

करीब ₹4.30 करोड़ की लागत से CAPEX budget के तहत बने इस project को Jammu and Kashmir Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd. ने execute किया है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य post-harvest losses को कम करना और local produce की value addition बढ़ाना है।

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ने कहा कि इस तरह की modern facilities से किसानों को बेहतर returns मिलेंगे और उनका produce national और international markets में compete कर सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार horticulture sector में मजबूत value chain develop करने पर focus कर रही है।

यह processing centre एक comprehensive facility है जिसमें:

• Fruit and Vegetable canning और packaging unit
• Sorting और grading के लिए pack house
• Mushroom processing unit
• Tomato puree manufacturing unit

इसके अलावा centre में:

• High-capacity fruit drying unit (400-500 kg per hour)
• 20 metric tonne freezing chamber
• Advanced storage और packaging facilities

ये सभी सुविधाएं product quality सुधारने, shelf life बढ़ाने और farmers के लिए नए market opportunities खोलने में मदद करेंगी।

Chief Minister ने कहा कि सरकार agriculture और allied sectors को sustainable growth engine बनाने के लिए committed है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह की initiatives से rural economy मजबूत होगी और युवाओं के लिए employment opportunities भी बढ़ेंगी।

इस दौरान Chief Minister ने agriculture और allied departments द्वारा लगाए गए stalls का भी दौरा किया और farmers, agri-entrepreneurs तथा self-help groups से बातचीत की। उन्होंने innovative practices की सराहना करते हुए farmers को modern technology अपनाने और high-value crops की ओर बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

उन्होंने भरोसा दिलाया कि सरकार training, financial assistance और market linkages के माध्यम से किसानों को पूरा सहयोग देती रहेगी।
